Green Transport Delta – Hydrogen
Projects
Green Transport Delta – Hydrogen
The main goal of the Green Transport Delta – Hydrogen project is to develop three hydrogen technologies: hydrogen combustion engines, hydrogen fuel cells, and next generation technology for hydrogen refueling infrastructure.
In the project, these three technologies are related to cross-sectoral mobility applications for automotive, shipping and non-road mobile machinery and the associated technical requirements of products set by the end-user. Legislation, policy and other market-specific factors are also considered. The consortium partners aim to accelerate and improve the transition to durable mobility and strengthen their (international) market position for durable mobility applications and power units.
Our role
VSL leads the work package on refueling infrastructure. The main goal of the work package is to investigate and develop the measurement equipment to measure the quantity and quality of hydrogen at refueling stations. Additionally, work is done to improve refueling protocols. VSL develops the required calibration facilities for this application.
